The Milky Way's galactic core blazes above Mobius Arch in California's Alabama Hills, a surreal landscape of weathered granite set against the Eastern Sierra. Fourteen light frames were stacked to reveal deep stellar detail in the sky, then blended with a twilight foreground capture to preserve the sculpted texture of the ancient rock formations.
